Pat Hull is a singer-songwriter from Connecticut currently based out of Santa Cruz, CA. With his distinctive voice that evokes such iconic artists as Neil Young and Jeff Buckley, Pat has spent the last five years winning over listeners across the country. Between 2010 and 2013, Pat lived in New York City, honing his craft and developing a fiercely loyal fan base within the city. This show at Rockwood Music Hall marks his return and first show in NYC in over a year.
This show also marks the East Coast debut of new material from his upcoming album Paradise, to be released later in 2016. Having made the transition to the warmer sound of a nylon string guitar, Pat’s new music is marked by hypnotic guitar patterns interlaced with gently crafted lyrical arrangements, and the flexible pitch-perfect voice he’s known for. New songs like "Marrow" and “River” highlight the major themes of Paradise, namely the desire for, and the experience of, building a home and family.
